Introduction

Paris certainly needs no introduction: everyone knows at least the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montmartre and many other places and monuments that make the French capital one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. But if the trip has to take into account the needs of the whole family, you could start facing some doubts like this: will the Paris that I have in mind be suitable also for my children? How can I structure the visit so that the holiday is pleasant and enjoyable for both adults and kids?

So here is a ready-to-use guide that reflects an experience experienced by our family consisting of me, my wife Manuela, our little boy Pietro (8) and our little daughter Giulia (6) at their first travel abroad. For us it has been a really exciting week, so we hope that this blog will give you useful ideas to build your itinerary and live an unforgettable experience as well.

Before starting, an important note. This blog is dedicated to the city of Paris, so you will not find news related to Versailles or Disneyland, which we have deliberately avoided. We think, in fact, that a city like Paris has so much to offer that it is not necessary to go beyond its borders to enjoy the holiday and spend a wonderful time. Of course, feel free to integrate as you please.

Parigi non ha certo bisogno di presentazioni: tutti conoscono almeno di fama la Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, Montmartre e tante altri luoghi e monumenti che fanno della capitale francese una delle mete turistiche più amate al mondo. Ma se il viaggio deve tenere conto delle esigenze di tutta la famiglia, ecco che possono sorgere dei dubbi: la Parigi che ho in mente io sarà adatta adatta anche ai bambini? Come posso strutturare la visita in modo che la vacanza risulti piacevole e divertente sia per i grandi che per i più piccoli?

E allora eccovi una guida pronta all'uso che riflette un'esperienza provata dalla nostra famiglia composta da papà, mamma e due bambini di 6 e 8 anni, Pietro e Giulia, alla loro prima uscita all'estero. Prima di cominciare, una nota importante. Questo blog è dedicato alla città di Parigi, non troverete quindi notizie relative a Versailles o Disneyland Paris, che noi abbiamo volutamente evitato. Noi pensiamo, infatti, che una città come Parigi abbia così tanto da offrire che non occorre oltrepassarne i confini per trascorrere delle splendide giornate. Naturalmente, liberi di integrare come più vi aggrada.
